When it comes to advertising merchandise or promotional items, choosing right can also make a great difference. As when you will give a gift to a personal friend, you need to think of the lifestyle or preferences of the people who will receive your promotional items. In order to achieve the results you wish by giving promotional gifts, the people who will receive them need to find it useful or attractive in some way.
Per example: if your potential clients are executives in an age range of 50 – 55 years old, giving them promotional backpacks or games would be much less effective than giving them briefcases, pens, mugs, or wine accessories. And on the other hand, if your target audience is young teenagers, backpacks, t shirts, games, or an mp3 could achieve the goal much better than travel bags, hats, or house accessories.
